Colusa High School is pleased to introduce the newest members of our staff - Amanda Jones and Eric Lay. Ms. Jones was hired to fill the Chemistry/Physics job she has held on an interim basis since December. She has also served a the coach of the Boys Tennis Team. Mr. Lay comes from Maxwell High School and will teach four periods of Math and two periods of PE. Both Ms. Jones and Mr. Lay are welcome additions to CHS! FBLA Goes to StateThis text will be replaced
FFA Members Successful at North Valley Competition
On May 2nd members from Colusa FFA participated in the North Valley FFA Project Competition at Butte College. Awards were received by the following members: Mackenzie Bressler Division II Gold;Katy Tarr Division II Silver;Kolby Steidlmayer I Silver;Branden Woodring Division I Silver; Shayne Myers Division I Gold; Andrea Thomas Division I Gold & 1st Place Overall Division I & Dylan Fusaro Division I Silver. Congratulations to all! 
Colusa High announces the hiring of new PE teacher and Head Football Coach Paul Theriault. Coach Theriault has a degree in Fitness Management and Health Promotion from Southern Oregon University and over 20 years of football coaching experience. Most recently he has served as the assistant football coach at Modesto Christian High School. Coach Theriault will be in Colusa on a permanent basis after June 1st. CHS is looking forward to a new era of RedHawk football! Colusa High School would like to introduce new principal, Darren Brown, who will begin his tenure on July 1. Mr. Brown has been at East Nicolaus High School for the past four years serving as the assistant principal and athletic director. While at East Nic he has also been involved in the FFA program and served as a coach for the girls basketball team. CHS looks forward to having Mr. Brown on campus!
