FBLA State Conference 2018

Twenty two students from Colusa High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter attended the 76th annual State Leadership Conference in Ontario, California from April 12th to April 16th. Chapter members competed in various events including advertising, personal finance, and cyber security among many other business related competitions.

During the conference, members had the opportunity to attend a keynote presentation given by Scott Backovich, a motivational youth speaker. They also got a chance to attend many business related workshops. The entire chapter also took part in the March for Babies event sponsored by the the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization that works to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Congratulations to Chloe Ferraiuolo (President), Kelsea Whiting (Secretary/Treasurer), and Jessica Hickel (Public Relations Officer) on their installation as Northern Section officers! Another big congratulations to Colusa FBLA on their recognition for having the largest professional membership division!

After the conference, our members were rewarded with the exciting opportunity to go to Disneyland to celebrate all of their hard work. For more information as well as pictures, please visit the Colusa High School FBLA homepage!
